The Recipe Guide
Here are three great cannabis smoothie recipes you can try at home. These are simple and fun to make. The base of these smoothies can be used for a variety of different flavors.
All of the recipes are vegan, dairy free, gluten free, and have no refined sweeteners.
Chocolate can easily be switched with vanilla by removing the cacao powder for example. The berry is a good balance for those looking for a tarter taste. Essential oils can also be added to get more dynamic results.
We recommend freezing the bananas first so you don’t have to use as much ice. The frozen bananas are best frozen on a non-stick baking tray in the freezer. Any good silicone container will work great as well.
If you do not like bananas or have an allergy, they can be substituted with avocado. When avocados are added, you will notice a reduction in sweetness.
Some people like a bit sweeter smoothies so you could always add more dates or a healthy sweet juice to counteract the avocado flavor. Usually you will not notice the avocado once all the other ingredients are blended together.
At the middle of the blending process you will want to add ice. This is the trickiest part because too much ice will clog the blender. Experiment with a little bit of ice at first and then slowly add more to get to the consistency you desire.
